MAPEI ULTRAPLAN TERMO 25KG

Mapei Ultraplan Termo fibre-reinforced, fast-hardening and highly flowable levelling mortar, with a high thermal conductivity coefficient (λ = 1.727 W/mK), for pouring underfloor heating systems.

SPECIAL FEATURES:
- good flowability;
- safe application in layers of up to 40 mm due to synthetic fibre content;
- installation of coverings after only 12 h
- commissioning of the underfloor heating system already after 4 days.
EXAMPLES OF USE:
- covering and grouting of compact underfloor heating systems consisting of self-adhesive plastic panels and/or mats installed on screeds of all types and on existing ceramic and stone coverings, as well as on pre-fixed insulating panels, provided they are sufficiently robust (the latter application only in living areas and with a ULTRAPLAN TERMO layer of at least 30 mm) / a galvanised screed grid is recommended on the surface of the heating system pipes;

- flooding of compact underfloor heating systems made with gypsum fibre or cement fibre panels laid on top of an existing ceramic or stone floor (this method is only used in living areas and with a ULTRAPLAN TERMO layer at least 20 mm thick);
- covering and grouting underfloor heating systems based on electric heating cables and mats - prior to the installation of ceramic tiles, natural stone and floating floors (e.g. laminate flooring);
- levelling the surface of subfloors (screeds) with already integrated underfloor heating and cementitious subfloors made on the basis of fast-setting products such as TOPCEM PRONTO C25 or TOPCEM PRONTO C35 and standard cementitious subfloors.

Waiting time before installing cladding:
- ceramic and natural stone floors not sensitive to moisture: after 12-24 hours;
- moisture-sensitive floors: 2 days for each 1 cm of mass thickness;
- first use of heating system: after 4 days.
