Description:

COLOIDAL FORMULA - ATLAS GRUNT NKP is an intelligent colloidal combination of polymer particles of different types and sizes, recognising the substrate to which it is applied.
Depending on its needs, it:
- deeply penetrates the porous structure of the substrate, strengthening it,
- has a surface action that effectively reduces the absorbency of the substrate and prepares it for the application of subsequent coats.
ADAPTABLE TO ANY SUBSTRATE - the intelligent colloidal structure of the primer, created thanks to the dispersion of polymer molecules of different sizes, allows to use the primer without dilution on all absorbent substrates and under any kind of finishing layers.
POWERFUL PENETRATION AND STRENGTHENING OF SUBSTRATE - the gel-like primer with increased viscosity forms a layer several tens of µm thick on the surface immediately after application. The primer, accumulated on the surface, systematically and deeply penetrates the structure of the mineral substrate, strengthens it and increases the adhesion of subsequent layers.
DOES NOT SHINE THE SURFACE - colloidal combination of polymer dispersions of various particle sizes makes the surface not shiny and is satin matt after drying. The primer does not leave an elastic film on the surface which could cause difficulties in applying subsequent coats.
DOES NOT CREATE DRAINS - the gel-like consistency of the product allows perfect spreading with a roller, brush or aggregate, without the formation of streaks.

Main properties:

It does not drip during application - it is a gel-like product ready to use without dilution with water. In undiluted form, it allows application without the unpleasant effect of dripping and splashing, which is important especially when applying the primer to walls or ceilings.
The colloidal combination of polymer resins and specially selected thickeners allows:

 2X more product can be applied onto the tool than with standard primers, allowing 2x more surface area to be primed at once,

- faster application - eliminating the need for frequent refilling of the product on the tool,

- cleaner work - without protecting the surface from contamination and splashing of the primer during application (the gel consistency of the primer significantly reduces splashing, also when priming ceilings).

Has an express effect - it is possible to start oiling work after:

- 15 minutes - under tile bonding on cementitious substrates,

- 30 minutes - for free flowing or dispersion plastering, plastering, tile bonding on anhydrite substrates,

- 60 minutes - under painting, wallpaper adhesives, water-based carpet adhesives, dispersion waterproofing,

- 90 minutes - when preparing the wall for ETICS systems,

- 120 minutes - for primers and floorings.

Improves paint performance - by levelling the absorbency of the primed substrate, it increases the performance of paint coats.

Facilitates application of subsequent coats - paint coatings, adhesives, smoothing and filling compounds, primers and self-levelling floors, adhesives for carpets, wallpaper adhesives, thermal insulation adhesives, etc.

READY-TO-USE PRIMER - NO DRIPPING OR SPLASHING

The undiluted primer allows a comfortable application:

- on any surface, especially on walls and ceilings,

- under any type of finishing coat.

Binds loose particles on the surface of the substrate - once the surface has been dusted off, it effectively binds any loose particles of dust, dirt etc.

Suitable for application at elevated temperatures - recommended for use between 5 °C and 35 °C.

For indoor and outdoor use.

Solvent-free.

Can be applied by roller, brush or spraying.
