ATLAS GRUNTO-PLAST TILE PRIMER 5KG
Atlas Grunto-Plast grafting layer for difficult substrates.
Key features:
increases adhesion and strengthens the substrate
On tiles, terrazzo, tiles, OSB, concrete
ready-to-use
under floors, adhesives, plasters, renderings
Description:
Ready-to-use compound that increases adhesion to the substrate (to concrete min. 1.0 MPa) and to newly applied layers.
It is an excellent primer for difficult substrates, enabling adhesives and other materials to be applied in such a way as to obtain adequate adhesion, even on demanding substrates such as OSB, old ceramic cladding, terrazzo or asphalt underlays, etc.
Main properties:
is a ready-to-use compound, produced on the basis of polymer resins and quartz flours
increases adhesion - adheres strongly to the substrate (to concrete min. 1.0 MPa) and to newly applied layers of concrete
contains quartz aggregate - increases adhesion by significantly expanding the effective surface between coats (creates a rough surface)
reinforces surface-primed mineral substrates - penetrates into the material structure, reinforces it and improves its load-bearing capacity
provides a primer for difficult substrates - enables the application of adhesives, waterproofing and other materials in a manner that allows adequate adhesion, even on demanding substrates such as OSB, old ceramic cladding, etc.
facilitates the application of the next layer - rough surface reduces "slipping" of the applied material
suitable for application at elevated temperatures - recommended for use between 5 °C and 30 °C, indoors and outdoors
reduces absorption of the substrate - prevents "extraction" of excessive water from the product applied to the following substrates: concrete, cement floors and underlays, underlays with underfloor heating, various types of plaster, etc.
improves the performance of finishing coats and adhesives - by sealing the structure of the primed substrate, it reduces the consumption of materials used for the next layer
unifies the absorbency of the substrate - thanks to ATLAS GRUNTO-PLAST the product applied in the next layer has the same binding conditions on the whole surface, including the places where local repairs were made
protects the new layer against adverse effects of the substrate - by limiting the interaction of one layer with another
is a white primer - reduces colour bleed-through from the substrate and discolouration on the surface of the finishing coat of plaster
protects wood substrates from excessive moisture - resulting from contact with the newly applied wet layer
